Truly memorable gifts - the 2 key ingredients
One of the nicest, most memorable gifts I ever saw was received by a friend of mine.
Her thoughtful boyfriend gave her a photo album filled with all the best photos he’d taken of the two of them enjoying good times. Some of the photos were a bit sexy, which made the gift even more memorable, although she didn’t show it to her Mom!
It was such a wonderful gift because he’d thought carefully about my friend and knew what she’d like. He knew her well enough to appreciate that she collected little keepsakes and treasures that sparked good memories. So it was a perfect gift for her.
That’s the key ingredient in memorable gift giving. You have to really know and understand the recipient and think about what she wants (or HE, as the case may be). If you don’t know the person well, don’t despair. Here’s a good old trick that nearly always works well… phone her best friend or her sister and ask, “What would she like?” “What has she always wanted but has never received?”
Even better if you can manage it - take her best friend or sister shopping with you.
The recipient of your gift will be amazed - and impressed - when she opens her present and sees a gift she had never even told you she wanted.
That’s the second most important ingredient in giving truly memorable gifts… You have to go to a little trouble - do a little work, be a little original. If you do, she’ll love you for it.
For example, you could give her a digital photo frame filled with photos of the two of you (nice romantic ones of course.) You’ll keep winning points every day when she looks at it!
What’s so handy about this gift is that it doesn’t matter if she already has half a dozen digital photo frames or photo albums. It’s adding your own personal touch that makes YOUR gift unique and memorable.
She’ll love the fact that you went to a little trouble to make this gift so special.
Guys will love a photo gift, too, especially if you have curves in all the right places. (If not, give him home-made cookies instead!)

I like your idea of “romantic” photos in a digital frame - good one. But those gourmet meal ideas on your other pages look even better!
